Q. What do we charge:
A. We charge an hourly rate starting at £80 per hour.
Price may vary based on the time of day. Example; after hours we may charge more. This is at the discretion of the engineer.
We never charge for the cost of parking or congestion. Senior’s NHS staff can receive a 10% discount upon request.

Q. Will the job take long?
A. Our aim is to carry out same day repairs or same day replacement of parts such as heat exchanger, diverter valves, cylinders, PCB’s, thermostats, thermistors, air pressure switches, heat exchangers and pretty much any part you can think of. We are affiliated with a huge number of suppliers and 90% of the time we can will you up and running again within the same day. With Boiler replacements and central heating installations this may take a little longer from depending on the complexity of the work involved.
Q. Are you Licensed & Qualified
A. We employ the best in the industry, all of our plumbers are Gas Safe and City & Guilds accredited – We are determined to provide our plumbers with the highest level of training to ensure the work they carry out is completely safe and compliant with all relevant laws & regulations. Rest assured that you’re working with a team of trustworthy, courteous, reliable team of experienced plumbers engineers when you need us!
Q. Do you have liability insurance?
A. This is an absolute must to protect your home in the event of a workmanship deserter. Yes we are fully insured for all work we carry out and we guarantee it.
Q. What is your call out charge?
A. We never charge call out fees, even in an emergency. We only charge for the time spent working. Even during an emergency call out we will only charge for the time spent working and fixing the problem.
Q. Is your work guaranteed?
A. On completion of any works NPS will provide you with a standard 12 month warranty on workmanship, no quibble’s. In certain cases guarantees can be upgraded to 2 years, depending on the type of installation and we can also offer some fantastic extended manufacturer guarantees on certain boilers which can be up to 10 years.
With materials and products purchased by us they will be covered by full manufacturer’s warranties and our labour is backed by our own guarantee of workmanship which is second to none.
Any defects arising from faulty installation or repair work that may require correction and that occur within our guarantee period, this will be treated as a high priority and dealt when convenient to the customer.
Q. How is your time keeping?
A. Our London plumbers are all local and will be with you in an hour. If it is not possible for us to reach you on time, due to unexpected traffic or an accident then we will let you know and not leave you in the dark.
Q. Are we able to leave keys with you?
A. Yes, we do a lot of work for estate agents and Landlords where collecting keys is the norm, although it’s better if someone is on there just in case we need to ask questions or get authorisation for work quicker.

Q. How much experience do your plumbers have?
A. All Homecure plumbers are fully qualified with at least 5 years’ experience. All our engineers specialise in reactive maintenance (breakdowns / emergency plumbing) so are excellent problem solvers who have come across almost every known issue possible.
Q. Do you work on a fixed price?
A. Wherever possible our engineer will give you a fixed price to complete the job in hand. We do normally charge by the hour. For a larger scale of work we may offer day rates. This way you have peace of mind of knowing the exact cost of the job, no hidden or unexpected fees will be added.
Q. Do you provide free quotes?
A. Yes, We can provide free written estimates on major works, these include boiler installation, bathroom refurbishments, complete rewires and new fuse board installations. All estimates are valid for 3 months.
Q. Can engineer bookings be made in advance?
A. We can allow up to 4 weeks in advance, please not any changes, amendments or cancellations must be made within 24 hours to avoid a cancellation fee.
Q. We would like to book the same engineer again?
A. We always appreciate when clients really get on with one of our technicians. Our plumbers are local to the area and most of our work is generated from recommendations and reputation. If you would like the same plumber to return for additional work please let us know and we will do all we can to arrange this.
Q. Can you pay by credit card or direct debit?
A. We accept all major credit & debit cards, payment must be paid on completions of work. In some cases we may ask for a deposit prior to work commencing. This will be to purchase parts and materials.
